Yesterday our family took a day trip to Columbia, Mississippi. The Golden Agers of our church graciously paid for everyone in our church to go on a train ride (which was a first for most of my family!). After the ride we went over to the Ms. Red Bluffs where we had a pick-nick and took a hike down to bottom. Here are a few pictures of the day…

Now at Red Bluffs! Our first view… Wow!
We had a yummy picnic on the trail.
The colors were so beautiful!
Not too close, Liz!
Down, down, down.
Almost to the bottom… we had to hold on to get there… and then we had a surprise…
A beautiful “mountain” stream! It was nestled between high hills, with water dripping from the sides all along the way. Several small, gushing waterfalls made it seem like we were in the mountains. We hiked barefoot in the stream for about half an hour.
The gang.
And we finished off the trip with sno-balls in Tylertown! What a nice daytrip! Thanks Golden Agers and thanks Chuck!
