As normal I am way behind on posting! But hey, better late than never, right?? The Tate family’s Labor Day tradition is to wake up very early (for those who want to hunt) and head out to the field for a good three or so hour dove hunt! After the hunt all the hunters come in from the field for a WONDERFUL breakfast of homemade biscuits and sausage, prepared by Nanny (Inez) and the older granddaughters who don’t really enjoy dove hunting!!!=) Here are the pictures from Labor Day….
My friends, if you have never tasted one of my Nanny’s biscuits you are REALLY missing out! It really doesn’t get much better than this!
All that hunting was well worth it! YUM! Thank you all my hunters for doing the dirty worth….the dove tasted amazing!
Just for the record Daddy killed 10, Ben killed 7 and Liz killed 2 (maybe 3 couldn’t decide if her or cousin Jonah hit that one!)

Isn’t she just the cutest?!?!? I love this little girl SO much!!! She is such the princess and so sweet! Ben gave her the princess crown.
I’ll take banana pudding over birthday cake any day! This little girl is smart!
